About the job

At Conference Manager, we’re on a mission: We want to make every event in Europe as easy and safe as possible! We’re already market leader in Denmark and are on the brink of international expansion.

We’re currently growing our team with additional Frontend magicians to further develop and scale our system. You will become part of our growing Frontend team currently consisting of 4 talented members. Together, you will develop World-class user interfaces for our platform by continually applying your first-mover mindset and modernize or system. The frontend team is part of the development organization consisting of 14 employees – and growing!

As we we’re growing the team with several roles, we’re in the unique position where we’ll be able to customize the position to our new colleagues, meaning you will be able to work with the areas you like best!

Among other things, you will:

• Work closely with our backend teams to understand user requirements and translate them into intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
• Develop frontend components and features using modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript including frameworks like React.js, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
• Handle technical debt and migrate from other frameworks such as jQuery.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices. Optimize frontend performance to enhance user experience and page load times.
• Conduct thorough testing of frontend components to identify and fix bugs, ensuring a smooth and error-free user experience across different devices and browsers.
• Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies, trends, and best practices, and proactively contribute ideas for improving our development processes and tools 
  

The ideal candidate:

Our next colleague brings a true passion for everything frontend and ideally has experience from a SaaS company. In addition, we imagine that you have:

• Proven experience as a frontend developer.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and React.js.
• Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with or the desire to learn more about front end network technologies such as websockets, HTTP/2 and Fetch API.
• If you have experience with OKRs – you will fit right into the way we structure our company and individual goals!
